She draws inspiration from pop culture and media, particularly films, series, and internet memes. Her fascination with the mundane and subconscious is manifested by her chosen subjects and images. Her recent works explore themes of gender and cultural identity and relate them to sociopolitical issues experienced in the Philippine setting. She is also interested in the topics of mental health and the environment.
